Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Trove mobile app, operated by Getsnippet ("Trove", "we", "us"). By downloading or using Trove you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Who can use Trove

You must be at least 13 years old to use Trove and able to form a binding agreement. If you use Trove on behalf of others (for example, hosting a film), you're responsible for their use complying with these Terms.

Your account

You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Guest access lets people join a film with just a name; the film's host is responsible for who they invite.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, voice notes, and other content you create in Trove. By adding content to a film, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it as needed to operate the service — for example, to reveal it to the other participants in that film according to its settings. You're responsible for the content you capture and share, and for having the right to share it.

Acceptable use

Don't use Trove to upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, or abusive content; to harass or violate the privacy of others; to reverse-engineer or disrupt the service; or to attempt to access data that isn't yours. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Purchases

Trove is free to start. Optional passes are one-time purchases sold through the Apple App Store, and they unlock features for a single film. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to the App Store's terms. Passes are consumable and are generally non-refundable except as required by law or Apple's policies; refund requests are handled by Apple. Prices may change.

Service availability

We work to keep Trove running well, but we provide it "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee that content will always be preserved, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that it will be error-free. Please keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trove and Getsnippet disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or content, arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using Trove and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use Trove after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
